When you come into our convenience store, you’ll quickly notice the excellent
lighting, both inside and out, and the digital video recording cameras in the store
and at the gasoline pumps. All of our internal alarm and monitoring devices are
very sophisticated and highly effective tools that assist us in providing for your
comfort and security. Each of our employees receives extensive training in
security and safety training including safe food handling classes for our deli.

Marengo Marketplace has made it a priority to be a good neighbor in its
community. We will contribute our fair share of state and local taxes each year.
We will provide a scholarship program for a student of Marengo Community High
School. We will assist in school sports promotions and video televised events for
the community’s viewing and entertainment.
We do not sell alcohol or tobacco to minors, and we’re strict about checking IDs.
We refuse to sell alcohol to anyone who is intoxicated and we don’t carry drug
paraphernalia or adult magazines.
We have strong civic and social responsibilities and we are active supporters of
local fundraising campaigns and charities.
